How can I reach my physician if I have an emergency at night or on weekends?
If you think you have a medical emergency call 911. If you are a pregnant woman and are experiencing regular contractions or you have lost your "bag of water" go directly to the labor and delivery department of your delivering hospital.
Today's Women's Health Specialists provides a 24-hour emergency answering service for our patients. To reach a physician after hours, simply call our regular phone number at (480) 963-7900 or toll-free at (800) 477-1622. You will automatically be connected to our 24-hour answering service. There is always a physician on-call to handle urgent matters. Please note that we do not refill medicines after hours.
Please remain at the number you have given to our service and remember if your phone line is busy, or blocked, the physician will be unable to reach you. PLEASE keep your phone line clear!
